You have decided to sell your property. If you are reading this, you have done some research and have found another way beside the traditional way, to sell your property. This alternative way is called flat fee mls. This is very much a discount style listing and the seller saves half of the traditional commission.

With flat fee mls, the seller pays only the commission at closing which has been specified in the listing agreement. The seller can choose the commission amount they pay at listing time but HomeWise always recommends the seller pay 3% commission . The reason we do that is because traditionally, that is what buyer agents have been paid. The commission is posted on the listing and the buyer agent knows what it is before he/she shows the property. If the seller goes much less than the 3%, agents can and may choose not to show the property. Listing at 3% puts the seller s listing on a level playing field with all the traditional listings in the MLS.
