Who knows your house better than you? I

Because my wife and I were getting married, it was necessary to sell both of our homes. My wife listed her home first with a full service Realtor and was very disappointed with the experience. We were constantly being told when to leave and then having our time changed without notice. "I am very happy I decided to use a Flat Fee Listing. The $499 was well worth it to save nearly $7000. If you know how to take pictures and make a flyer, you can do this with Sharon! In Columbus Sharon had to call me with showing requests and then I called the potential buyer's Realtor back to confirm the showing. It was up to me to follow up with the Realtors who showed it to see what the feedback and client interest was. The actual contract offer process, negotiated directly by me with the buyer's Realtor worked very easy. We just used email or Fax and had things settled in just a few days. I had bought and sold a home before so the contract part of things wasn't a problem. Sharon provided me with expert advice when I asked for it. Her sign in my front yard attracted drive-by interest as did the www.realtor.com listing. The MLS is the key to having other Realtors find your property. I used a lock-box to allow other Realtors to come in and complete showings while I was gone. I didn't find it very helpful trying to do an Open House - not that much traffic and lots of time, these were not serious buyers. I also didn't have any response to a Columbus Dispatch classified ad that I tried. Again, a sign in the yard, MLS listing and an internet listing are all I needed to sell my home!"
